First Impressions; Clinique - Moisture Surge

Happy Wednesday! I'm fired up and ready to talk about a very exciting product that I have discovered. As you can tell by the title, it's the Clinique - Moisture Surge. I've been very open-minded about Clinique's products approaching the end of 2017 and been experimenting with the brand. I was given a tester pot of the Moisture Surge and of course was eager to give it a whirl.

Instead of a cream, the consistency is a gel formular that claims to be rapid, long-lasting hydration and locks in moisture all day. I could not agree less with this statement. The gel doesn't leave a sticky, tacky sensation on your skin. It is a soothing, delicate moisturiser and I haven't come across many gels before. I always pick up thicker creams and butters but this has definatley converted me to using more gel moisturisers. The product feels juicy, nutriutious and comfortable. To add to all these amazing factors, it is 100% fragrance free (perfect for sensitive skin) and it's oil free!

I love the cute miniture travel/tester size with the cute mini box for the packaging, this is probably what tempted me more into trying it out! I will be purchasing the full size of this product but I'm considering just topping up my little top as and when it runs out. It's going to come in super handy when I am travelling or even out and about for those none make-up days. I would also use this moisturiser for the rest of my body - it is not specifically just for your face.

My skin is currently going through the phases of being super dry and flaky from the colder weather to then being cured by intense moisturisers. Now it's going from breaking out because of all of the bad food I have been consuming and now detoxing and cleasning my body is bringing all the crap out from my skin but we all know that this means we've got to go through a good breakout before we can see the pretty, clear, healthy, glowing skin. I will get there and achieve beauty (I hope...).

Even though I haven't been using this product for very long, my first impressions are very positive. It definatley has short term beenfits. My skin is happy and feels rehyrdated as well as super soft. I'm very much digging Clinqiue and their brand as a whole at the moment. I've started expanding my collection of their products, both skincare and make-up.

Have you ever tried any on Cliniques skincare range? If you're looking for a hydrating moisturiser that doesn't leave that tacky feeling and sinks in super quickly then this might just be the one for you! Let me know what your favourite moisturisers are.

I hope you have a lovely day.
